Holly Weston Sophie

 

Holly recently made her big screen debut in Madonna’s film FILTH AND WISDOM. Still in her early twenties, she is tipped to become one of Britain’s leading actresses. A talented dancer and ex-model, Holly was chosen personally by Madonna to play the female lead in FILTH AND WISDOM. Her other credits include ITV’s MURDER IN SUBURBIA, HARLEY STREET and WALL OF SILENCE.

Stephen Martin Walters Gavin

 

Stephen’s credits include HANNIBAL RISING, REVOLVER, LAYER CAKE, MEAN MACHINE, 51ST STATE and BATMAN BEGINS to name just a few. His TV credits include SKINS, Danny Boyle’s STRUMPET and BAND OF BROTHERS. Stephen is a dedicated actor, taking the method approach to his work, which gives his performances a strong distinctive edge.

Sacha Dhawan Sam

 

Sacha is a highly sought after young actor, equally comfortable working on stage and screen, he was awarded the Royal Television Society Award 2007 for Best ‘Breakthrough on Screen’ for his role as Karim in the gritty drama BRADFORD RIOTS. Sacha also starred as Adil Akhtar in the British BAFTA nominated comedy THE HISTORY BOYS. Recent credits include WIRED for ITV and stage play PORNOGRAPHY by Sean Holmes.

Sadie Pickering Jane

 

Having recently graduated from stage school, Sadie is a rising star, fast becoming a familiar face on UK film and TV screens. She has appeared in the television dramas WHATEVER IT TAKES, 24SEVEN and WATERLOO ROAD. SPLINTERED is her first feature film. Sadie is also a talented singer/songwriter.

Jonathan Readwin Dean

 

Talented young actor, Jonathan has performed in many UK film and TV productions. His TV credits include ECHO BEACH, THE BILL, HOLBY CITY and ROME for HBO. His film credits include small roles in the first two HARRY POTTER films, MINOTAUR and upcoming horror film DREAD.

Sol Heras John

 

Sol’s TV breakthrough came when he landed the part of Luke Ellis in the ITV drama ROCK RIVALS. SPLINTERED is Sol’s first feature film. Sol is currently actively developing a career in UK and American film and TV drama.

Colin Tierney John

 

A very experienced stage and screen actor, Colin splits his time between theatre, film and TV, having appeared in many prestigious stage productions, including Sam Mendes OTHELLO and the RSC’s production of THE DOUCHESS OF MALFI. His Television credits include THE BILL, SILENT WITNESS, ISLAND AT WAR, FOYLE’S WAR and THE VICE.

Simeon Halligan Director

 

Simeon is a graduate of the Royal College of Art and award winning director of short films SLEEP MY LOVE and TRIPLE EXPOSURE. SPLINTERED is Simeon’s debut feature, having worked as a production designer and art director on numerous TV shows, commercials and films in the UK. His creative background and award-winning visual talent has brought a unique visual style to SPLINTERED.

Rachel Richardson Jones Producer

 

Rachel has produced award winning broadcast shows, corporate material and TV commercials. Experienced in handling complex budgets and with an extensive knowledge of production at all levels, she has worked internationally for some of the largest global blue chip companies. Rachel has also worked with Island Records for bands such as U2, and for various music channels such as, VH1 and Smash Hits. SPLINTERED is Rachel’s first feature film as producer.

Clive Parsons Executive Producer

 

Clive produced with his long-term business partner, Davina Belling, his first feature in 1975, INSERTS starring Richard Dreyfuss, fresh from his success in JAWS. Clive then went on to produce such seminal British films as BREAKING GLASS, GREGORY’S GIRL, BRITANNIA HOSPITAL and SCUM and has worked with many prominent writers and directors including Bill Forsyth (GREGORY’S GIRL), Lindsay Anderson (BRITANNIA HOSPITAL) and Franco Zeffirelli (TEA WITH MUSSOLINI).

Sarada McDermot Co-Producer

 

Sarada McDermott has been working in the film industry for thirteen years. She graduated from the Northern Film School completing an MA in Film Production. She has worked on films such as FANNY AND ELVIS (1998) DOCKERS (1999) SECRET SOCIETY (1999) PAROLE OFFICER (2000) 24 HOUR PARTY PEOPLE (2001) 28 DAYS LATER (2001) NICHOLAS NICKLEBY (2002) THE JACKET (2003/04) THE DARK (2004) IF I HAD YOU (2005) BRADFORD RIOTS (2005) GROW YOUR OWN (2006) and SALVAGE (2008).

Richard Bodgers Composer

 

Richard has composed and produced music for over 1000 commissions, including global TV and cinema ad campaigns for brands such as Bentley motors, Mercedes, Tomb raider and Hoover. He has also written original scores for computer games (WORMS and TOMB RAIDER) and short films (TRIPLE EXPOSURE, SNAPS and THE PAINTER). During 1998/99, he was appointed Musical Director at Manchester's Library Theatre, where he composed original scores for ANGEL’S IN AMERICA and THE GLASS MENAGERIE. More recently, he has composed serious music for EMI and KPM music libraries and is currently writing songs for other well-known artists.

Steve Trimingham Writer

 

Steve splits his time between screenwriting, teaching and interactive writing for the web. He graduated from the Manchester Met film degree with a 1st Class B.A. (Hons). The short film he wrote and directed HEAD IN THE CLOUDS won several awards including Best Drama from the Royal Television Society. Steve is co-founder of Northern Screenwriters and Pablo Productions and is directing and editing new shorts with those groups. He has written several spec scripts and currently has one produced and one optioned feature film script. He is currently developing several other TV and film projects.

Matt Archer Writer

 

As well as being a screenplay writer, Matthew is also the Head of Development for Giantkiller Films, having gained credible recognition as a script developer with the London offices of Miramax, Columbia TriStar and 20th Century Fox to name a few. His expertise lies in working simultaneously with writers and producers to develop projects for the global marketplace, as well as creating strategies for further company growth. He is the former Director of North West Producers and Directors and board member of the New Producers Alliance.
